A marching band starts last year's Bat 'n' Rouge.

Brady Bunch Bat 'n' Rouge is at new location this year

Columbus-The 14th annual Bat 'n' Rouge softball game, "A Very Brady Bat 'n' Rouge," has a new location this year.

The benefit drag softball game will be played at Mohawk Middle School ball field this year, on the northeast corner of Grant and Livingston.

The game will at 3 p.m. on June 24. Gates open at noon. Pre-game activities will begin at 2:30 p.m.

Don't forget, Jan Brady is running for "Most Popular."

The beneficiaries of Bat 'n' Rouge are Stonewall Columbus, Camp Sunrise, Pater Noster House, the Ohio AIDS Coalition and the Columbus Lesbian and Gay Softball Association.

Corporate sponsor this year is Miller Lite. This year beer will be on sale. Please don't bring your own, but the the traditional tailgating is encouraged.

A play-by-play announcing of the game will keep all informed of who is closest to winning the title of "Miss Bat 'n' Rouge 2001."

This year's lucky ticket wristband number will win a trip for two to see the building Mike Brady designed in Hawaii. The winner will also be able to check out the very caves

that Greg, Peter and Bobby got lost in and were held captive by Vincent Price, if they are not too scared. Ticket wristbands will be available at the beginning of June for an $8 donation.

Ticket outlets include Stonewall Columbus Community Center, 1160 North High Street; Raffensberger Photography and Framing, 900 South High Street: Raffensberger Gallery, 658 North High Street, and the ticket booth at the Pride festival on June 23. Tickets will also be available at the game.

Parking inside the gate will be $3 per vehicle. Motor homes will be $10 and must arrive early for placement. There is a lot of street parking within walking distance of the field.

Oh no, Tiger is missing and all the Bradys are looking for him! If you have seen Tiger or you have a Tiger look-alike, enter him in the "Tiger's Missing" contest and win a dinner for two.
